This is probably one of the hardest posts to put on the internet, but I feel like I’m in a place where I feel good with it, and I’m proud of my aesthetics journey. ✨
I remember going on a snowboard trip with friends who were 5-10 years younger than me in 2018, and I felt I looked really old in my pictures. I felt like it happened overnight, suddenly I was self-conscious of my aging face… I was happy with who I was, but did not feel confident in how I looked.
One morning I woke up and decided to do something about it. I started with getting my teeth fixed, then added Botox, dermal filler, Sculptra, lasers, morpheus8 and medical-grade skincare. It wasn’t until about a year and a half into my aesthetics journey that I slowly began to feel my confidence return.

Melasma is a pigmentation disorder influenced by multiple factors including genetics, sun exposure, pregnancy, hormone therapies, phototoxic drugs and anti seizure medication. The different causes are what distinguish melasma from traditional hyperpigmentation and it’s also what makes it more difficult to treat. It occurs most often in women, but can still occur in men.
