Lindsey

Co-owner / Nurse Practitioner

I'm Lindsey, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to The Beauty Development Aesthetics & Wellness Clinic in Kingston! As the owner and CEO, I'm here to share a bit of my story with you.

My journey into the world of health and beauty began at a young age, where I often used my younger sisters as my creative canvases for all things beauty-related. While I initially considered a career in the beauty industry, a guidance counsellor nudged me towards nursing, a path I now cherish.

After completing my studies at Queens University and the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program at Ryerson University, I dove into the world of nursing, gaining invaluable experience in various healthcare settings, particularly in skin and wound care. It was during this time that I realized the need for more comprehensive dermatology training, igniting a newfound passion for skincare.

In 2019, a visit to a colleague who had just completed cosmetic injection training opened my eyes to the exciting possibilities in medical aesthetics. Intrigued by the role Nurse Practitioners could play in this field, I eagerly enrolled in an introductory course and haven't looked back since.



Balancing my time between my role in long-term care and evenings at a skincare clinic, I eventually took the leap to open my own practice. It's been a journey filled with challenges, but every moment has been incredibly empowering.

Nothing brings me more joy than helping others feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. I'm thrilled to invite you to join me on this adventure as we navigate the dynamic world of beauty together at The Beauty Development.

I'm Sarrah, co-owner and CEO of The Beauty Development Aesthetics and Wellness Clinic right here in Kingston, Ontario!

From a young age, my fascination with skincare and beauty knew no bounds. Experimenting with makeup and staying up-to-date with the latest skincare trends became my passion. I always knew that one day, I'd find my place in the beauty industry—it was just a matter of timing.



After earning my Bachelor's degree in nursing from Laurentian University and following it up with a Master's in Nursing from Queen's University, I finally took the plunge into the world of aesthetics. It was a leap of faith, but one that I'm grateful for every day.

Now, I'm thrilled to be here with you, ready to embark on this journey together. Whether you're exploring new aesthetic horizons or rediscovering your personal beauty goals, I'm dedicated to making your dreams a reality.

Registered Nurse

I'm Stef, a seasoned nurse with over two decades of experience, proudly hailing from Newfoundland. I kickstarted my career as a float nurse before delving into intensive care in California, where I grew a fascination with aesthetics began to bloom.

After experiencing my first 'Botox' treatment, I knew that aesthetics nursing was my calling. Following numerous adventures, my husband and I settled in Kingston, where we started a family and I worked part-time as a neonatal intensive care nurse. However, my passion for aesthetics never waned.

I took the leap into a new realm, and to my surprise, found myself flourishing in the fast-growing field of aesthetics. For over two years now, I have been skillfully administering injections, making dreams come true for her clients.

Registered Nurse

Hi I’m Nicole, I’ve been a Registered Nurse for the past 27 years working primarily at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre in acute care medicine and nephrology.

I have always had a passion for health, wellness and preventive medicine.

My medical aesthetics career began 5 years ago with a mission to help others with their self confidence, self-esteem and to become the best versions of themselves.

I look forward to getting to know you as we embark on your health and aesthetics journey together.



Deatra

Registered Nurse

I'm Deatra, a Registered Nurse at The Beauty Development Aesthetics and Wellness Clinic here in Kingston, Ontario.

My nursing journey began in a primary care physician's office and on a physical medicine rehabilitation floor as an RPN. After completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, I transitioned to working on an orthopedic surgery floor in an acute care hospital and teaching nursing students in clinical settings. While I found fulfillment in floor nursing, I yearned to express my creative side.

That's when I stumbled upon the perfect blend of my nursing expertise and creative passions: the medical aesthetics field. My fascination with beauty and wellness traces back to my high school days when I struggled with skin issues. Through extensive research and experimentation, I discovered the transformative power of skincare.

Helping others feel confident in their own skin has always been my driving force. My approach is not about changing, but enhancing my clients' already beautiful features. At The Beauty Development, I'm dedicated to empowering individuals to embrace their unique beauty and radiate confidence from within.
